including nilgai, wild boar, spotted deer, and sambhar here.

Nanda Devi
Sanctuary
Nanda Devi Sanctuary is located in the Chamoli district of
Uttarakhand. This sanctuary came into existence in the year
1939. As there is no regular path to this sanctuary, you
need to trek 15 kms from Joshimath by road to Lata, and then
51 km. to the sanctuary. You can find Snow Himalayan Bear,
Leaopards, Must-Deer and Pheasant here. The best time to
visit the place is from April to May.
Corbett National Park
Situated in the forested foothills of the Himalayas
in Uttarkhand, the Corbett National Parkis seven hours
drive from Delhi. Spread across 520 sq kms, this park boasts
of flat valleys, hilly ridges and rolling grasslands.
Corbett is famous for tigers and large herds of wild
elephants.
Corbett is home to 50
species of mammals, with 580 different kinds of birds and 25
reptiles. You can also see long-nosed gharial and crocodiles
basking on the banks of the river.
